Do you require a damage deposit?
No. We have found our guests treat Villa Lunt as they do their own home.
How do I make a reservation and what is your preferred form of payment?
Reservations are held with a $500 per week non refundable deposit. The balance of your vacation rental is due 30 days prior to reservation.
For residents of the United States, we request electronic checks or other forms of electronic payment (i.e. venmo, zelle).
For residents of other countries, we request payment be made by wire to our Bonaire account.
We accept major credit cards through several listing sites, with a 3% service fee added.
Do you offer trip insurance?
We do not offer trip insurance, but highly recommend you purchasing it.
What type of electricity is at your villa?
Villa Lunt is equipped with both 110V and 220V outlets. The receptacles will make clear which voltage the outlet is. Some electronic equipment (i.e. phone charges) can be used with either 110V or 220V outlets. Please check the specifications of your device prior to using an unfamiliar receptacle.
Are Linens Supplied?
Yes. Bed sheets, bathroom towels (2 bath and 1 hand towel per person) and pool towels (1 per person) are provided. We have a washing machine on site for you to use should you want to launder the linens during your stay.
Do you provide any startup supplies?
Yes. There will be a few rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom, hand, dish, & bar soap, a roll of paper towels and some garbage bags to get you started.
Where can we get diving information and discounts?
Once your reservation has been confirmed, we will connect you with Dive Friends on Bonaire. Dive Friends has many locations throughout Bonaire making tank exchange easy. Dive Friends offers our guests a voucher for discounts on pre-paid and paid at check in services.
Is a rental vehicle necessary?
Yes, getting around in Bonaire requires a rental vehicle of some sort. Once your reservation is confirmed, we will work with you on car or truck reservations. If you would prefer to rent a scooter, we can help you find one that will suit your needs.
What cellular providers are on the island?
Digicel and Telbo. We recommend reaching out to your current mobile phone provider regarding plans for usage on Bonaire.
Is there a preferred way of communicating on the island?
Many businesses and individuals on Bonaire use WhatApp for easy communication. We recommend downloading the application from your app store.
Is the villa pet friendly?
No. We do not allow any pets at Villa Lunt.
What is your smoking policy?
Smoking is NOT allowed inside Villa Lunt or on the upper patio. If you do smoke, please go to the lower patio or one of the chairs around the pool.
